About The Facility: The Atlanta recording studio, LAVA Room Recordings {home of LAVA Rock Records} is a 4,000sq ft state of the art recording and full service duplication facility. Our Live Room is large enough to accommodate an entire band. If you prefer to record simultaneously in separate rooms, the studio is designed to allow visual and verbal communication between rooms. The facility at   LAVA Room Recordings is also designed to oblige artists and produces who require an all inclusive facility; one complete with a three bedroom, 2 ?bath home on 1+ private acres of wood land.

Studio Happenings:

The studio was bursting with activity during the summer months and the fall promises to follow suit. Singer/songwriter Chelsea Austin made her studio debut and recorded her first five song EP. The song "Love Stains" can he heard on the LAVA Room Recordings Studio page. Chelsea has since started a 4pc band, RAG, and is performing locally. The great local guitarist, Doug Webb also spent time in the studio this summer with LAVA Room Recordings owner/producer, Eric Snipes. Eric worked his mixing magic on Doug's new record titled Doug Webb Equalibrium. Learn more about Doug by visiting www.atlantapromusicians.com.

A promising new local rock band, Kilburn spent time in the studio creating the bands first demo CD. Although a small band of only three, this group of young twenty year olds generates a big rock sound! The talented Savannah, GA singer/songwriter Phil King placed his new record in the skillful hands of producer Eric Snipes to add fireworks to the songs and mixing perfection to the record. The song "Crying Day" can be heard on the LAVA Room Recordings studio page and at www.myspace.com/philkingmusic. Phil is a true talent; his lyrical capabilities are second to none.

The local music community is all a buzz awaiting the release of the first record from the popular local band, Soul Bread. The band is currently in the pre-production stage at LAVA Room Recordings and is scheduled to begin tracking during the month of October 2009. Look for the release of the record in mid June 2010.
